Recently, I stepped away to complete a long-planned personal goal: backpacking around the world for one year with my husband. Visiting 33 countries and finally doing something we’ve always dreamed about. From camping in Africa to walking the Great Wall of China, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience we’re incredibly grateful to have made happen. 

Even though the plan was to take a year off from Art Direction, it turns out you can’t really stop art directing things once you start! A Fujifilm camera and a world of new visuals became an exciting creative outlet along the way for me. If you’d like to see some of the adventure, I’ve been sharing some moments on Instagram.

Fast forward to now – we are settling into our new home in Portland, Oregon :)
